I wonder which coach if Amy they could’ve hired and prevented this type exodus. The two that turned them down immediately come to mind . Could Kiff had swaggered his way through the halls and kept them somewhat whole ?

The more I think about it, I think Kiffin would've kept a majority of these guys that are bailing on Debo

Yes. Kiffin would have been great for the job. Already has the Saban “protege” experience. Could have brought in hype on Bama scoring points, which probably keeps Sayin and lands Ryan Williams. Kiffin also has many connections to SEC experienced coaches (along with people in the NFL). And he knows how to recruit and work the portal during the NIL era.
Kiffin is a firecracker, but he would have been the easiest transition. DeBoer is a disease.

The guys who have left have all said they’re leaving because No Saban, No Deal essentially. I don’t think Kiffin can be their new daddy in that case.
