It really would. Maybe it would help people lower their expectations and just enjoy the games for what they are. Instead of fearing a loss more than enjoying a win, we can now appreciate the thrill of victory.
It dawned on me im recent years that I loved CFB just as much when Bama sucked than I do when Bama wins every game. I wouldnt trade those 17 years for anything, but CFB is a shell of what it was when I first got hooked in 1996

Dude. I could not agree more! Being a Bama fan does not revolve around wins and losses for me. There was so much forging thru fire and earning our crimson back then.
I will say, ironically, I do worry about my fandom as this sport is about to be players being paid more than coaches... all the behavioral problems this is going to fan the flames to etc... I hope I'm wrong, and I hope college football somehow magically continues to have all the magic it always has. And no doubt, I'll give it a while before I ride off into the sunset....
I used to daydream about being as epic as USC when Carrol was there. Or, of course, be like Bama was under Bear. I love the idea of dynasties. I wanted to be a part of one SO bad. And I got to LIVE that shite.
Now, I'm not so sure we will see dynasties ever again. I don't mean that in a hyperbolic way..

As crazy as it sounds, things had gotten a little stale. It'll be nice to see new schemes, unfamiliar players, etc. Of course, if we lose a bunch of games, it might not seem so nice. Regardless, I'll roll with the Tide, whether we're up or down.
