I’m not sure what all else is walking distance. Loews is literally next door. Not sure they’d have any rooms now or not. I’ve stayed at a Courtyard once wand it was walking distance to AT&T Stadium. Would also think you could pay for parking and stay the entire Saturday over there.

What we did last time is we would watch the early game, leave it around the 5th inning and head to Texas Live for meal and drinks. That year it was packed with people. Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, State, and is we’re in it. Felt like each game had 15-17k there and the teams that weren’t playing had their fans at Texas Live.

I’m sure Oklahoma State will bring “some” fans but I would expect Arkansas to have the biggest contingent in this weekend set. Just too far for Oregon State, and Michigan I’m sure doesn’t have a big following. I think Oregon State is there that entire week too. They play a few games before the weekend.

I'd love to do this once my kids out of the house. Nobody likes baseball in my family.

You going to Arlington? Thinking about going. $92 for 3 day pass.

Make sure you are purchasing the correct weekend. I believe it is Weekend 2 tickets you would want. Those GA tickets can be purchased for $51 on the Globe Life Field website. I think children are like $30'ish for the entire weekend.

There are no reserved seats left, but reserved is just for behind home plate. There are plenty of great seats to be had on a first come first serve basis.

Holt with a 3R bomb in the scrimmage today. No signs of slowing down.

Eff me. I’ll just go Ahloy. It’s baseball anyway. Last names are acceptable.

Some things from DVH at yesterdays Swatters Club...

- Arkansas will play in Arlington again next year
- 2/5 home series next year have orange "T's" associated with their names (he isnt supposed to comment on schedule)
- 26 newcomers this year.
- If the season started today, Hagen Smith, Mason Molina and Brady Tygart with Ben Bybee or Colin Fisher maybe starting the fourth game against James Madison. Really wants to start out this season with experience and then work on getting younger guys in game situations.
- Back of pen is where he wants Will McEntire, Gage Wood, Jake Faherty and freshmen
- Pulling for Jayson Jones to hit and start in LF
- Approximately 275 fans in attendance.
- LF and C are where there will still be some early season battling

I think Jones is the difference for our offense going from average to good, as well as Stovall, but I've seen too much from him to say nay for him, but DVH will ride him out no matter what like he has in the past with other players.
