Kiffin would be a home run and I pray that’s who we get. He has been my first pick for years for when this day finally came.

“What could you possibly do right if you don’t win the national championship every year?” Kiffin said. “‘You’re going to follow Nick Saban at Alabama?’ No, that would not be a good decision for anyone.”

“I followed two Hall of Fame coaches in Phillip Fulmer and Pete Carroll. Not smart. So, you see how USC ended. (Replacing Saban) would be the dumbest follow ever.”

Bama supposedly wants nothing to do with Kiffin. He must have double teamed the wrong mother and daughter while he was there

After Mike Price, there is no way Byrne is going to hire Joey Freshwater at the Capstone. Too many ifs.

I will say that 2016 Kiffin isn't qualified. But 2023 Kiffin....I think would be a great hire.

I think that one line " get your popcorn" was a revelation for him. Don't be a ja just coach football..because after that blew up in his face...he seemed to realize that it takes more than hype and people across the field are really good

I don't think it'll happen but the whole mark helfrich chip Kelly thing was in the back of my mind. Chip bolted around the same time saban retired. Not a great time to shop. They decided helfrich could stabilize what was already there. It went poorly
