Bama should just hire someone who can keep the program stable

Whoever follows Saban is fricked. Plug someone in and save a few bucks since he will be run out of town in 2-3 years anyway. Gives time to evaluate some of the younger crop of up and coming coaches in the mean time.

That’s why they are hiring Tommy Rees

The Bama decline will come on too strong

If Bama wanted stable they would hire a retread like Brian Kelly

Rees would be a good option since most Bama fans want him gone anyway

Dude would kill it at Bama for next 3-5 years.

The Brian Kelly who has had 2 great seasons, a Heisman QB, while still rebuilding from the Coach O dumpster fire?

Seems like a much surer thing than DeBoer, a dude with 2 seasons of P5 head coaching experience.

If they got Pete Carroll that would be impressive. With NIL and the portal and him being out of the college game for so long it ain't happening. Guy isn't short on money

Is a 9-3 regular season without an SEC championship now considered a great season?

Is Alabama fan’s hesitation with Swinney lack of hot success in recent years? I feel him moving to Bama could revitalize his own coaching as well as give Clemson a fresh start.

Bama needs to move on to HS coaches just to avoid further embarrassment. SAD!

Seven ten win seasons in a row, and being among the winningest active head coaches in college football is about as sure as it gets.

Of course not. Just like leaving the first part of a sentence out when quoting someone isn't considered sensical.

What? What are you talking about?

Learn to read. Rebuilding from dumpster fire. Heisman QB.
If you want an honest answer to your question I suggest you ask a Texas A&M fan.

Agreed.
BK is a high floor type of coach that can win a title at LSU.
LSU was clearly confident enough in their program that they didn't feel the need to gamble on some Johnny-come-lately in hopes of winning the coach lottery.

Great season seems like a stretch? Beating a 7-6 Wisconsin team in the final minute of a garbage bowl?

The way things are going, they might end up with a Big 12 coach. I wonder what Mike Gundy or Matt Campbell could do with BAMA type recruits and money to pull in a good Defensive Coordinator? It would be interesting, they both have a knack for doing more with less, especially Gundy. Gundy could fit the bill as the type of dude that could somewhat stabilize the program, and might even surprise people given the kind of money BAMA would have to hire a staff for him, and the type of recruits he could get with BAMA's brand.
