My neighbor and his entire family are Alabama fans. I saw him in front of his house this morning and we started up a conversation about Nick Saban retiring. He told me that he couldn't sleep last night, and he cried a lot throughout the night. He was very emotional. I thought a grown man acting like this was kind of odd, but to each his own.
I need some recommendations from the SEC Rant on what to say to reassure this man.

My brother in law is a lifelong Alabama fan. I called him last night and you'd have thought his dad died or something.
