I'm betting he tells them he's just not interested. He'd rather stay on his dream job in Oxford.

It was a fun ride while it lasted

Lane has been looking for a way out of Oxford every single off-season.

Can’t imagine being an Ole Miss fan after this news.

Judkins smelled what the rock was cookin’ but refused to play for Bama?

I don’t think Lane goes though. No one wants to follow Saban there. And he’s setting Ole Miss up to where he can dance in the ashes of the Bama program.

The only thing that could possibly keep in Oxford is pussy.

Oxford better open the check book.

Alabama a step down
...... Alabama State wouldn't be a step down from Ole Piss

Good. Because pussy is undefeated.

Lane makes the playoffs next year and then he can write his own ticket when he wants. timing is bad and it would be a gamble for him and for Alabama.
He has an opportunity to really be a legend where he is at, if he is mature enough to see it.

Lane is smart enough to know that after next season at Ole Miss things could be trending down again. Most likely will to some degree. He would kill it at Bama with the ability to get anybody he wanted.
