Pat McAfee also has a real talent for making his guests look as bad as possible by dragging them down to his frat boy in a state of arrested development level.

That's true, but I think the way he went about it was pretty standard for him. Has a history of running his mouth. A lot of these coaches who think they're masters of NIL and the portal seem to be that way.

agree and not a problem with that, my problem is he chose to go on mcafee and say it
nick denied alabama interest, with reporters in his face asking constantly
lanning could have said nothing, put out a statement through the university or called a press conference
to go on mcafee and talk about how great oregon is and no interest in going to bama is bush league

Yeah. I'd expect that from anyone in his position. People, especially fans, read way too deep into innocuous statements.
