The AP has been absolute trash for years now. They usually get the top 5 right but after that it's pure homerism and regionalism.

Misread. UGA and LSU writers have us at 14 and 15. Even Ark has us there. Outsiders absolutely tanked us and in some stupid ways like the unranked ones posted.

I get they had players sit out, but those guys must've been traveling overseas and missed the entire bowl season if they really think that. That orange bowl was about as conclusive as it gets

Outsiders...like Texas, Mississippi State and Alabama. Did Reece Davis actually put Louisville at #15, Iowa at 18 and not rank Tennessee?

You got Eagle Eyes my man (I can barely read that chart - need a ruler). I didn't see Reece Davis at all (he's just being petty) and IDK what's with the Miss State voter but frick him. The rest look about right in terms of AP voters being stupid as hell and/or just hating on us because Voltwitter bit them or some random fan looked at the sideways one time in 1976.
But on Texas... Yes, they're outsiders until UTX has a full season under their belts and even then they'll be outsiders until they're more SEC saturated.

Y'all hate on LSU, but I see only one ballot with the objectively correct take of 1) Mich 2) UGA 3) Wash 4) Texas 5) Bama, and it's an LSU writer.
