I find Lane entertaining, but Lane has left everywhere he has been outside of USF in worse shape the we he got there. I think he maintains this roster somewhat but the percentages are he burns this thing to the ground within 5 years. The other thing is that I just don't believe he would win at the level believed.

The other piece about Lane is that his coaching turnover is pretty insane. I have hard time believing TRob wouldn't have walked regardless or lasted more than a year, and I think Lane's staff would have been underwhelming. It looks like he has lost 4 or more coaches every year at Ole Miss.

He is actually more from the Pete Carrol tree just like Sark and O.
