Saying “oh he got lucky and didn’t get seriously injured” doesn’t at all delegitimize the injury concern in the first place
I think the issue people have is that he risked injury for the entire first half so that he could set an individual record. Once he did, only then was a potential injury too much of a concern that he decided to sit out.
I have no issue with him sitting out the entire game (or just the second half), but I think that's why people are ragging on him.

Awful playcalling by Wisconsin inside the 5.

Dude we literally JUST watched a receiver potentially badly injure himself in a meaningless game

I mean idk if I’ll be the only LSU fan to admit this…
But we were trying to get our QB the Heisman

Wisconsin has 400+ yards through 3 quarters. We'll see how they look in the 4th.

I figure most would fly, but still.
Could it be possible that Wisconsin has a more dedicated fan base than LSU? If no, how to explain the obvious disparity in attendance?

It was 6-3 Liberty 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter as well

Yes, poorly attended game. This is usually a solid second tier bowl game with good attendance, but both teams were disappointed in their season.

Nuss reminds me of Spenser Rattler, lots of potential but inconsistent and turns the ball over too much. I expect him to improve his accuracy a lot in the off-season and for him to have a solid year if they can protect him.
