Clearly been long enough that Florida fans have forgotten - or were not alive for - the Spurrier era. A man who famously said, "It's not my job to stop my team from scoring. It's your job. If you don't want to be scored on, do something to stop it."

Florida didn’t qualify for a bowl. And this silly Gator is sitting home and is so full of spite and hate he can’t hold it in any longer. It’s really ugly how jealousy and envy can make some people act.

Spurrier would have put in his third strings.
Spurrier also said that scholarships at Alabama were “worth more” than scholarships at other schools. That’s how they perennially got the blue chip recruits. Hmmmmmm.

Looked like last years SEC championship game except UGA was trying to play basic offense and keep everyone healthy for playoff. Could have beat LSU by 40-50.

It is a football game. You play to win the game and your opponent needs to stop you. Everytime you play on the field you are putting up a resume and demonstrating your ability to the NFL. Maybe Florida should try that again sometime this decade.
