Kiffin was the coach he definitely had a hand in messing them up. They still had a ton of good players. Recruiting has never been his problem.

My brother in christ, they were starting walk-ons at receiver

He pulled a top ten recruiting class with thirteen total recruits because of scholarship reductions

In football years that was 100 years ago.

He has matured. He's not just a brilliant offensive mind anymore he's a great CEO. He is the only guy with the chops to pull off stepping in for the GOAT. He was the HC of the Raiders when he was 12 years old.

LK best years are directly ahead of him, and if you put the power of the Bama brand and resources behind him he will absolutely put the greatest show on turn on display on Saturdays. 40+ points per game

Why are you so argumentative these days ? You were always a lot of fun at Woolly. Now you find out whatever the popular opinion is and try your best to shite on it.

I mean that as a joke before you get all angry, and serial downvote me for another solid month. (I know it's you)

With nothing to play for they went 10-2 in his second year and finished 6th in the country, including knocking off prime Oregon in Eugene (and possibly preventing them from making the Natty). Before the wheels fell off with their lack of depth in 2012.

He also made Florida Atlantic relevant. Two 11-3 seasons and they have since returned to mediocrity.

He then made Ole Miss relevant again and just guided them to their best season ever.

He changed the way Alabama football play offense in 2014.

His credentials and recent coaching history especially point to a coach at the absolute height of their powers. He would be nearly as big a slam dunk in 2024 as Saban was in 2007.
