I'm not talking about Missouri or our game with them because I'm still now sure who we will have. If we were at full team then I would be confident but even if we were, Missouri is a good football team, maybe the 2nd best team in the SEC.

This is weak. Last year’s Ohio State recruiting class has more stars than the entire Mizzou team.

While Mizzou is indeed a good football team, they are - at best - the 3rd best team in the SEC. Alabama and UGA are clearly better, and a good argument could be made that Ole Miss and LSU are better.

Not taking anything away from Mizzou… without question a good team. I’m just pointing out that they are the 3rd to 5th best team in the SEC. And will be playing the #2 team in the Big10.

In terms of bowls, the SEC for the most part “plays up”….. typically the SEC in non-playoff regular bowls is playing a better team on paper. It’s just how the affiliations and pecking order stands. And even with that being the case the SEC still usually does well in bowl games. A&M and Kentucky were clearly not as good as their opponent, were “playing up”… and both were still competitive and nearly won the game.

A&M… #6 or #7 in SEC playing #2 in Big12

Kentucky… #8-#11 in SEC playing #6 in the ACC (and we all know Clemson is better than 6 in the ACC to begin with)

Mizzou… #3-#5 in the SEC playing #2 in the Big10

But you want to judge SEC teams losing bowl games when one had a 4th string QB starting, 20 guys transfer/opt out, and a makeshift coaching staff playing the Big 12 runner up ? ok

It’s funny the “full team” argument applies to everyone outside of the one conference that beats the shite out of each other damn near every conference game… you’re talking shite about Kentucky and Texas A&M losing. Then ironically saying you don’t know which players you’ll have left.

Nice job getting 3 points last night.

Mizzou was probably the 5th best team in the conference this year. The only reason they had 2 losses was because they had the easiest schedule in the conference, dumb arse.
