No you're exactly the same. Just a house of cards propped up by a QB and a couple of WRs getting blown out by anybody with a pulse and managing only 28 points against the real contenders with your "powerful offense" while they drop 50-bombs on you because you're a facade.

I won money that day. I picked LSU to win by 35 (56-21). I wasn’t much of a bettor but had a feeling that OU was going to get destroyed. LSU was kind enough to let off the gas. At least the game was tied 7-7 :)

That's not who you are anymore.

Good luck with that "check out our Houdini QB!" house of cards schtick.

The first play of the game K’Lavon Chaisson rocked Jalen Hurts for a sack after we hadn’t been able to tackle him for 3 years straight. I knew as soon as that play happened that it was gonna be an arse kicking.

I see you're all triggered because I cut straight to the bone-marrow with reality. Deeeep down inside, underneath your protective cognitive dissonance impulses, you know I'm right....don't you?

You’re wrong. This was one bad season of defense for us, which was an anomaly. Y’all still suck arse on that side of the ball.

Fair enough, but OU lost to an Ok St team that lost 33-7 to South Alabama and 45-3 to UCF. Ole Miss is actually pretty good this year.

I stand corrected - Your in-depth reasoning is infallible here.

Congrats on the 63-28 loss in your most recent CFP appearance and your obscure moral victory.

That's just more cognitive dissonance.

I don’t think you know what cognitive dissonance means. I can’t be cognitively dissonant if I disagree with your take.

Reality?

The reality is LSU has dominated Oklahoma in the last 2 meetings—a playoff game and a national championship game—but you wanna talk about transfer quarterbacks? Buddy who is the last qb Oklahoma recruited out of hs and developed into a multi year starter?

Landry Jones?

This game wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We had no shot.

Thankfully OU's defense is miles better than it was then and Joe Burrow isn't walking through that door anytime soon.

Right! Had to keep the "Houdini QB show" going. You're starting to get it...

I know exactly what cognitive dissonance means and I am telling you that it is not my perception of the information that you are presenting that is causing me to argue with you because I disagree completely with what you are saying. Also, I don’t believe it is bound in reality. Yes, it is true that our defense sucked this year (I’m not arguing that), but for you to act like that will be a trend at LSU is a slippery slope fallacy!

And in that same season the Longhorns were an easy dropped TD pass (to a RB who transferred to USC out of shame) away from beating the "greatest swamp tigah team of all time". If that happens LSU still gets in the playoffs due to beating Bama in the CCG, but we wouldn't be hearing any of this "greatest CFB team of all time" nonsense.
