I heard a Bama fan drop this comment in the game thread, and it was backed up by a Georgia guy, so you know it’s legit. I would say that’s both fair to say and yet an ambitious statement at the same time. Yet I agree.

It’s sad the fourth string QB was the best player on the field. With no snaps all year.

Reed went up against one of the best defenses in the Big 12, with no opt outs. He had drives he was cooking.

Weigman is the starter. I’d say this kid will be the backup though with Henderson’s broken arm.

By default. We only got 3 scholarships QBs. I remember one year I think Kellen was our only scholarships QB by year end and I was highly concerned, but Kellen was so durable running the ball.
