We’ve been here 12 years and have never claimed to have a long history in the conference. They were here from day 1.

When the Texas-Vanderbilt record came up a couple of weeks ago, I was assured by a Texas poster that comparing records run up in a time when the schools and game were very different from today had limited relevance.
