The fact that he's still hero to AU fans on here and was given a huge ovation when he was made honorary team captain vs UGA in '17 shows you how much this fan base has fallen.

Sorry but the vaginas are showing here a bit. Fairly was a heck of a player. Just a bit off the wire. Football is a rough sport and there is unreal dirtiness everywhere. But that is part of the deal. This ain’t Tiddlywinks.

Carlos Rogers was the honorary captain that game. Nick Fairley was just there.

Fairley was a Lombardi Winner that helped his team to a National Title. Of course he's a "hero" to Auburn.
