Well, he certainly has nothing more to prove, but he’s not going anywhere.

I mean he's 72 already like Pete Carrol, with the exception of Mack Brown. Both are oldest in D1 football and NFL.

Nick called me last night and we talked about it but I promised I wouldn't repeat what he said.

Looks like someone sprayed diarrhea all over the internet and you're calling it a rumor. Bringing what little validation you've brought to it by posting it on the rant is a shame.

He knows it’s better to go out while you’re at your end rather than extending a career with potentially less results and having ppl say he’s past his time.

A friends dad is in competitive sports and he did exactly what I said first because he knew it was passing him up.

Saban will still be at the University after he retires I bet. Dude loves it there but what’s the point of money if you don’t enjoy it before it’s too late.

***and yes I said before conf champ week that FSU would be left out and Sabans best chance is now before a 12 team he may get beat. I’m glad he’s in. It will be Alabama & Texas.

If there were an inkling of truth to this, the outside teams pulling for a Bama win would skyrocket.

Saban is not dropping a surprise, "thanks for the good time, but peace, I'm out" exit. It will be set, well known and the transition thoroughly planned for some poor man to come in and immediately feel the crushing weight of Saban's shadow no matter who it is.
