These changes, and the fact that our coaches have adapted better than anyone is a significant part of why we've had this success.

If you wan to go back to 1995, go ahead, but I'm good.

strange take. Our current coaches and recruiting transported to 1995 would be awesome. Our 1995 coaches and recruiting in 2023 would be lousy.

I would definitely not call the transfer portal and NIL a "significant" part of our success the last 3 years. In fact, if the transfer portal and NIL didn't exist, guys like fagt burton, AD Mitchell, bear alexander, trez marshall, dom blaylock, etc would be on our team now and ptoentially help us go undefeeated yet again.

You're trying to be happier than happy.

If the current setup yields results, you reverse changes at your own risk.

You do realize that players transferred before the portal.

They just had to sit out a year unless it was a grad transfer.

If it is a 4 year player (and I think we are seeing more and more of those), then sitting out a year isn't the worst thing in the world for the athlete.
It only hurts the 3 and out guys.
