Right, because playing 6 of 13 games against teams currently in the CFP Top 25 definitely compares to FSU's 2023 schedule.

A 12-1 team with a Top 3 resume playing their backup QB (who would probably be one of the top 2 incoming true freshmen QBs) would probably make a 12 team playoff. Just a wild guess.

I think they would make a 12 team playoff if that happens.

How do you even connect these two situations?

LSU pandering for a team that curb stomped them. Makes sense. Beta fan base.

These are the top SEC team records/rankings going into next year. OU plays all these teams next year except GA:

3) 12-1 Texas
4) 12-1 Alabama
6) 12-1 Georgia
9) 10-2 Missouri
12) 10-2 Oklahoma
11) 10-2 Ole Miss
13) 9-3 LSU
21) 8-4 Tenn

OU plays 6 ranked SEC teams. Plus #23 Tulane. 7 ranked teams on our schedule. Its going to be fun. SEC teams will all have more losses than normal so will still get 3-4 in playoffs most likely.
