1 economic measure, there may be others but if we are going to go economics and statistics, we have some verifiable data to go by.

With that said

If you want to break that down further you would be unpleasantly surprised to find that the poorest and mostly uneducated in my state aren't the demographic you probably expect.

They have enough football angles to get LSU fans to melt without the constant attacks on our State. And on the football metrics, they have the evidence on their side. My general dislike for them doesn't cause me to be lose my objectivity regarding matters of football.

LOL your state was used as a penal colony for the French to offload their undesirables. You guys are their descendants.

The guy thinks giving the board a history lesson on the immigrants to New Orleans, the Catholic League, and South Louisiana in general as an indirect and passive aggressive way of saying “I’m better than you” because we have some different immigrants than other parts of the south is one of the greatest melts of all.

Frank Thomas:

I don't know what you are getting at if you only knew.

With that said, unfortunately for New Orleans Hurricane Katrina and the residual effects of it has in fact caused a spiral to that city which it has not nor will ever recover.

Very unfortunate. One of my 1st cousins, among the last of my cousins In New Orleans just moved out the Saint Tammany Parish which is North of Lake Ponchartrain. In the last 15 or so years, 2 aunts of mine still there have passed on.

So since you are posting something non trolling , I again agree that New Orleans will never recover from Hurricane Katrina 100%. Sad reality but that is just the reality.

Now regarding LSU, there is nothing for me to melt about. LSU finished 9-3 and 6-2 in the SEC. End of of discussion.

I have said over, and over, and over in this thread and every thread last weekend that Bama beating UGA and going 12-1 and SEC champs (4-1 vs. CFP top 21) is one of the best 4 teams. In fact, I think UGA is 1 of the best 4 teams and if you ask me who my best four teams are, I would have in no particular order Texas/Bama/UW/UGA.

So have I been clear enough here.

Wow. I opened the first page completely not intending to read through all 5 pages of the thread but....man this dude is somehow like...like South Louisiana itself is posting on the SECr. I thoroughly enjoyed that, and strangely understood every bit of it while it flew over every single Bama poster's head.

I did not expect to read nuances on the cultural histories of southern states but I applaud your efforts to educate, my good sir.

You are projecting. I never said better than anyone. I just made a clear distinction that the world of South Louisiana is not anything like the rest of the historical South that seceded from the Union. So when all these Bama posters bash the state of Louisiana, well then there is indeed something deeper going on in my view.

So they bash, I bash back.

So trust me, nothing to do with better than anyone but we certainly are not the same.

Well unless you are from South Louisiana, u don't get it. Someone from say from a Midwestern city that had large Catholic school systems and one day found yourself in say any area between New Orleans to Baton Rouge to the Florida parishes, save Washington parish and Northern Tangipahoa and then across the rural south in GA/AL/MS/TN, you will see it immediately.

I am not from Alabama nor really care to do much economic research on your state. I only responded to a Bama poster trying to be cute with is attack on my state.

If you want to provide economic statistics on your state, feel free, as long as it doesn't turn into a pissing match of you bashing Louisiana in it, I have no problem with someone from Alabama defending their state. In fact, I commend a person for doing so (even if it is a state that I am not fond of)

Well how about your insecure need to point this out to anonymous strangers on a football message board

I wasn’t laughing at the typo, I’m not Sidewalk Tiger who thinks those are gotcha moments, I was laughing at your weird, insecure need to explain to who exactly, where St Tammany Parish is geographically in regards to New Orleans.

Well I don't expect the average gump-neck to understand Louisiana geography. If you happen to, well kudos to you sir.
