Selection Cmte got the right Final 4. Alabama deserved it. Not sure what the fuss is about

If Alabama hadn't won their conference and got in, I'd be furious. But, they won the SEC. The committee deemed them more worthy than Florida State who won a weak ACC. Alabama's only loss was to the B12 champ, who is also in.
This really isn't that controversial. I don't think you should get in if you don't win your conference, but if you do, then you compare conferences and resumes. Alabama's was good enough to get in.

I don’t disagree but this pretty much spells out why the playoff needed to expand.

A “weak” ACC that beat the SEC 6-4 head to head this season. 2 of those wins were from FSU against upper echelon SEC programs. Be honest, the SEC was weak this season. There wasn’t a team top to bottom that truly deserved to be in the CFP.

5 of their 6 wins were against Vandy, SCAR, UF, and A&M. None of them have a winning record in conference play. Meanwhile, the 9th best SEC team beat the number 2 ACC team.
