FSU still would’ve been left out obviously since Texas is in ahead of them. Would’ve completely removed their argument of SEC bias that I’m seeing everywhere over here now. They would’ve had to channel their anger toward Texas getting in over them.

Based on what grounds? Going with the undefeated season argument? The Texas argument is the same as the Bama argument. Texas still has the stronger SOS over FSU, and Travis is still hurt. Texas is playing much better than FSU. So, FSU would still be on outside looking in. The rankings, if Bama lost, would be:
1) Georgia
2) Michigan
3) Washington
4) Texas
5) FSU

If Georgia had won last night, FSU would be in.
Texas only entered into the fray because Alabama won. Alabama then became the de rigueur entry from the SEC. Texas had to be then included because otherwise the resulting outcry from most college football fans would have blown the whole thing apart. As it was, Alabama's win screwed FSU.

I was pulling for Bama because I thought if that happens both GA and Bama are out of the playoffs. But the Committee obviously saw things differently and put Bama in over FSU. Sucks for FSU v

Wrong. IF UGA had of won they would have been your SEC rep and FSU would have remained as #4 but the SEC had to be represented, by all means, so Bama jumped FSU and Texas had to be in since they beat Bama.
Total bullshite.
