Good question, ask jang.

Don't you start with the ask Jang stuff..

You make up stupid shite like Thorne is less talented than Chris Todd or slower than JJ and I dropkick your arse on demand.

I gave you a link from the NFlCombine that he ran a 4.75. Leave.

Convincing Scott to come back is the key here. We need S more than CB. Our back up safetys sucked.

Gotta get Simpson back as well. He has a covid year if he wants it.

Thats why they wanted Laquan Robinson, needed a quality, experienced safety in this class. I dont know if Keionte stays another year but this kid could be as close to him as you could get.

He’s probably a 1st round pick, so I don’t see that happening.

The link is there. That was at pro day, which is timed by NFL scouts not Auburn staff.

Nobody believes you.

Try this link for size

Like I said they're about the same 40 time.

Your own link tells me he is faster than the bust of 2015.

Pedantic now eh? They're on average, within 2 hundreths of a second lmao. It's also visibly obvious they're close in speed when you watch highlights.
JJ - 4.75
Thorne - 4.73

Thorne full stats:
40 Low: 4.63 40 Time: 4.73 40 High: 4.82

Seems fake. The spread is nearly the difference between a DT and a TE

Anywho. Who thinks we get QB transfer now?

He's projected 3rd-5th depending on which site you look at.

He was a 5th year Sr this season. I know he has the covid year if he wants, but I don't see him improving his stock by playing another season. I'd count him good as gone.

There are a ton of QBs to choose from, but we also have other needs. I also wonder if it is worth it to get a QB that can only give us one year. We need to go get one that can stay two years just so we don't feel pressured to start WW right away.

Everybody wants a transfer QB. If it isn't a starter on a team that lost their head coach or a grad transfer, then I am not for a transfer. Rode with Thorne or coach up Grinier or Brown or whomever they get from HS.

And as far as Ashford goes? He can run. So run over to receiver, RB or some other school; he ain't no QB for a P3.

If the QB room stays as is, you now have Thompson, Coleman, Cain, Simmons, and perhaps Ryan Williams....would you rather have Thorne or Geriner running the offense?

In the words of Hugh Freeze "He sure throws a pretty ball, he can spin it there is no doubt".

Hmmm intriguing times ahead.
