The guy has success at Houston but he and Halgorson have a falling out so he leaves.
He comes to Mizzou and fixes the pass protection and perfects the stretch zone blocking. Have you ever seen a RB go untouched time and time again?
OK, yes Tolsson is gonna screw up a snap, and there's gonna be 2 false starts every game. But this guy has to be Assistant Coach of the Year.

Agree. Hope Drink keeps up the good coach hires.

I'm not sure this is true. Our OL stats are about 50-60th in the country last I looked. We give up more sacks, TFLs and pressures than average in the SEC.
Is it better than last year? I'm not sure but i'd guess it probably is.

Are you saying the 10-2 record happened because the OL did a fantastic job down the stretch?
Don't forget players were still learning the new offense system and wasn't looking good early on.

Our OL is up for the Joe Moore Award for best in the nation. Damn you're tough to satisfy.

Last year we got stuffed at the line all the time and gave up loads of pressure. This year has been light years better. No idea where notsince’s “stats” come from but this years line has been damn good.

No. I'd say we went 10-2 because we avoided losing to bad teams. We aren't spectacular at anything but we avoided being terrible at almost everything (other than penalties). Just being solid gets you a long ways in college.

How? I'm thrilled with 10-2. Does objectivity bother you?

I'll just grab some quick ones from CFBstats.com as I dont have access to the advanced stats right now:
Sacks allowed - 48th nationally
TFL allowed - 70th nationally
Rushing offense - 54th nationally
Rushing YPC - 44th nationally
Is any of that "damn good?"
We are better this year but from all objective data, our OL is average. It is still better than last year.
