That's a growing problem with our country, the 'I deserve' mentality.

Unless you are donating enough bucks to make a difference, you really don't have a dog in the fight.

Football, to the masses, is just entertainment. It doesn't make a hill of beans difference in our daily lives. On the list of very important things that affect my life, football (other sports as well) are not even on my list, and if you really think about, I doubt they are on yours as well. I don't even recall seeing entertainment anywhere on Mazlow's hierarchy of needs.

Bottom line, it's not really worth having a stroke over.
Sure, I am disappointed when we lose, and happy when we win, but I don't feel less than, for example, the folks in Missouri this morning, or Mississippi, or Texas.
I don't have any skin (monetarily) in the program, so I don't feel like they 'owe' me anything. I just watch, hope the Hogs win, and when the game is over, go ahead and live life. It is what it is and I can't change it. I have a new day to enjoy.

(This was not a personal attack, just my musings on life. I am sick of the victim mentally that is pervasive these days.)
