I think Kirby hires better than Nick. The job is obviously high stress, but the program is so well put together (and there seems to be so much more comraderie rather than contention) that it's likely his stress level is lower than Nick's.

Also, if your are the perfect job for your skillset, making excellent money, and at the top of your profession, why leave?
