Georgia and bama have turned their teams around the 2nd half of this season

They both looked sluggish and beatable the first half of the season, but are looking unbeatable lately. Should be a great SEC title game. I don't see any big 10 or pac 12 team being able to beat either one

How about the Big12?

This is far more true for Bama than UGA. UGA just wasn’t very healthy early on and now that they are you see how good they are. As far as I know Bama didn’t deal with anywhere near the amount of key contribution players hurt that UGA did Bama simply has gotten better and better pretty much weekly.

My opinion.
Start of the season, UGA was establish the run first, throw second. Second half of the Auburn game that changed. We began to throw to set up the run. We have been unstoppable on offense since then.

I think you’re pretty much correct but it doesn’t really nullify or make what what I said false. They both are true. Perhaps we didnt believe or trust in the less tested players early on when we clearly should’ve in hindsight

Both teams beat Texas by 10 in a playoff scenario.

I think it just took Carson Beck time to get totally comfortable.... Instead of throwing to his closest checkdown he began to feel more confident with throws in a tight window..... and having good Wide Receivers and Tight Ends also has helped...

The OL getting settled has helped tremendously. Beck has had a lot of time to throw over the last two games since Mims came back.

True. I don't think Bama suffered a single major injury this season.
But as much as Bama has turned a corner, we still haven't reached UGA's level.
To the OP, I think it will resemble the 2008 SECCG. Bama will give UGA a game for about 3 quarters and UGA will pull away in the 4th. We just don't have the horses to keep up with Georgia.

Bama did; UGA is doing exactly what they did last year. The only difference is all the injuries to start the season. It’s just UGA didn’t talk about them; y’all only noticed the Bowers injury in the middle of the season.

Funny you say that, I've felt similarly for a few weeks now. I think we edge Bama in a great battle, then next year with milroe back and all that best class ever talent maturing, Bama wins the 2024 SECCG as Saban goes out in glory
