let's hire someone young and hungry and keep rolling the dice till we figure it out....hiring retread after retread and guy headed to retirement after guy headed to retirement is a terrible plan.

Yes…..hire and and fire a new “up and comer” every 4 years. That’ll be better. I see we didn’t learn anything from the Chad Morris years.

We need an established, experienced head coach. Not an up and comer. This isn’t the place for on the job training

I hear Jimbo is available and he's got tons of experience even winning a championship

Chad wasn't an up and comer, he was less than stellar at SMU and was sold on his ability to recruit Texas.

He had Traylor who is being sold on his ability to recruit Texas.

Their best recruits came from everywhere but Texas.

The old timers fail to see how big of a waste of time and resources is to try and rely on Texas. Even going all the way back to Broyles you will find that Arkansas only pulled from Texas talent deemed by Texas HS coaches to be on Arkansas level this level is below all Texas schools and Oklahoma schools in their eyes.

We need a coach who works hard and is obsessed with winning because he hates losing. Bert, Chad, and Pittman were hired to reach plateaus lower than winning or plateaus that did not involve winning. That's why we are where we are. Chad was the only one not to reach his plateau because Texas doesn't give a shite about Arkansas or Texans coaching at Arkansas.
