You think Mizzou is a bunch of yankee carpetbaggers? kU fans’ favorite insult for Mizzou fans is to call us “slavers.” Their mascot is a reference to a group of domestic terrorists who pillaged their way up and down the western border of Missouri under the false pretense of “abolition” even though a very small percentage of their victims actually owned slaves.
