Sam isn’t getting fired unless these last games are disastrous IMO.

What happens when Drunk comes in hangs 60 on him?

Sam is much much worse at home than he is on the road. In the last 2 games, he has scored 17 pts... Total, and one TD was with a backup in nuclear garbage time.

Freeze also stated he basically could have named his score but didnt. Eliah won't pull his foot off the pedal one bit in 2 weeks like Hugh did...especially if 10-20K Mizzou fans show up and rival the Home crowd (yes, last part may not happen, but still).

The feeling among the fanbase will be at an all time low after that game.

That’s my point. How we win\lose will play a big part in my opinion.

You're actually being generous, it's only 13 total points

I think Sam really rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way in his Monday presser when he said he's not panicked and basically thinks everyone is being overdramatic, it's not as bad as they're making it out to be, etc.

It just had a tone to it that made it seem like he's not too concerned about taking the very hard steps towards fixing anything, and it's the fans and media being dramatic suggesting the team is broken.

I'm sure the full clip is out there, it's almost infuriating to listen to

We've played four true home games so far. We've scored a total of nine touchdowns in RRS for 2023. One of those was pick six and one was a punt return. So seven offensive TDs in 16 quarters of play. Three were against a 1–9 G5 team, three were against 5–5 BYU, and another was in garbage time against 6–4 Auburn.

So, we have one TD against a team with a (barely) winning record at home this year, and it came in the fourth quarter while down 48–3. You almost can't embellish how horrible our offense has been. With a three-year starter at QB, under a coach who did literally nothing but o-line work for over 25 years.

We'll be lucky to hold them to double digits if we play like we did against auburn.
