Let's all collectively, as SEC fans, say a prayer for Alabama

Alabama's current record is:
990-327-44
Michigan's current record is:
997-354-36
Alabama has a real possibility, with their meteoric improvement this season, to end the season with 996 wins.
Michigan, due to their issues and current complications, may not win another game without their head coach. Their players may just quit trying, they may lose track of their goal, lack cohesion, etc... after losing their coach for game days.
That would set up next season for a real race to see which college football team hits the extremely huge and historic milestone of 1000 wins first.
Michigan would start the season just one win ahead of Alabama, despite beginning their football program 13 years before Alabama did.
To reach 1000 wins first would be a great point of pride not only for the bedrock program of the SEC, but for the whole SEC and all the fans of each individual team.
How about we all show some respect to Alabama for all it has done and meant to the SEC over the decades, and support this legendary team in this race to greatness.
SEC!!SEC!!!SEC!!!

I didn’t read any of this, but no.

Stop making us support Michigan

This makes me want Alabama to lose to Georgia very badly.

One would imagine that fans of a team with the illustrious history that Tennessee has, combined with its era defining rivalry over the generations that Tennessee has held with Alabama, would be the first fans to support Alabama.

Doesn’t seem to be a lot of appreciation on this forum for what Alabama has done for this conference. None of these other schools would be near the programs they are without Bama setting the standard.

Someone who gets it! Well said.

It really is Bama carrying the water in football, UK in shooty hoops, and LSU in stickball.
But, football is king.
But, football is king.

Right. I'm starting to sense that some people here actually don't like The Crimson Tide.
Alabama has always, always set the standard for the SEC, set and broke milestones, rose the entire conference up out of the ashes of mediocrity, put a national spotlight on every team that was lucky enough to play them each season, etc...
Just one example is that most of the nation would not even realize that auburn had a football team if it weren't for Alabama.
Their in-state rival, Georgia, certainly never had the nationwide recognition Alabama did to bring attention to their little cow culture oddities.

They honestly need to show some respect to Alabama. Not necessarily including prostrating themselves before Bama fans, but just showing general respect in their interactions with us.
Just think about this, virtually everyone on this site between the ages of 40-60ish, looked up and saw their parents crying like absolute children when Bear Bryant died.
Whether they are from families of Tn, auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, State, Vandy, LSU, Florida, etc... supporters, they actually experienced their family member's intense and deep trauma when Bryant died.
That is how big Bama was, and they were even more influential than that during the tenures of Wade and Thomas.
They really do all need to show respect to Alabama posters; they are lucky to have supporters of such a legendary team participating here.

I disagree, it's clever.
It's subtle and backed in fact. But, I'm a BBC (its British Tv, don't get excited Aggie) comedy and History channel guy, so facts and clever humor speak to me.
It's why he's a true internet legend when he's at his A-game. Back away and cancel your subscription when he crashes though. It's white phosphorus on a refugee camp bad.

Is that counting the 31 wins the Nazi's stole from us?

Dear Lord, please let Alabama fans stop embarrassing themselves. Amen.

I agree to an extent.
You nailed it here, but maybe drop it to 30.

The majority of the younger age group are just spoiled brats that enjoyed success ever since they could remember how to lift the seat to avoid pissing on it.
They did not suffer the trials and tribulations of the late 60s under Bear when he was ALMOST fired, the post-Bear era until Stalling, or the pain of EVERYTHING, as a whole, between CGS and 2008.
That base has its reflection in appreciation of a ball club that may not be an NC every three years.
