In 2023, what are your thoughts on the Covid season?

I’m personally glad we got the season. The Big Ten tried to cancel it.

I thought the all SEC schedule was amazing but also every game seemed to have anywhere from 10-40 players not available due to the protocol. Some teams legit quit (tamu and Vandy).

The playoffs were wild with 6-0 Ohio State some how benefitting from all this and then having to play Bama down 15 starters.

Anyway, just some thoughts on a Thursday.

I distinctly remember watching Indiana beat Penn St in Week 1 with Penix Jr. and just being happy that we had football.

It was a strange season and I'm glad the crowds are back.

I'm glad it was a throw-away season. We finished 3-7 and had to vacate the 3 games we won. At least we got rid of Pruitt a month later.

We lost every game by an average of 30 fricking points

We stormed the field after beating South Dakota the following year opener

I just remember sitting in my apartment at the time and watching Mizzou beat LSU.

Then I remember watching the Shoe Toss game later that year on my phone because I had just bought my house and didn't have cable or WiFi or anything yet.

I was just glad to have it

Early august it was very shaky at best if we would even have a “season” at all

That feels like a lifetime ago

That season should be wiped from the record books.

A&M hasn't won 10 games since 2012.

That's because they sucked. Trust me if they went 13-0 like Bama they'd call it the greatest season because they overcame all the adversity.

We’ve had an asterisk shortage ever since

It was weird being in Sanford, bryant Denny, and cocktail party with quarter capacity crowds. Also kinda nice though too in some ways.

Nothing changed for me work wise, The dumb shite the big 10 did after the SEC lead the was dumb as shot. Bama was probably best team, but that season was fricked and should be an asterisk
