28-21 Auburn

Winners:

Week One - Jamal (55-10; Score was 59-14)
Week Two - HailToTheChiz (3-2, score was 14-10)
Week Three - Corch (45-10; Score was 45-13)
Week Four - Lowspark (27-14; Score was 27-10)
DSOR - Corch. Again. (26-16; Score was 27-20)

LSU: Auburnnyc (predicted 48-13 LSU. Final was 48-18 LSU)

Ole Miss: Fearless and True ( predicted 28-20 OM. Final score was 28-21 OM)

Mississippi State: CorchJay + ChexMix (CorchJay Predicted 27-16 Auburn ChexMix 24-13 and the Final was 27-13 Auburn)

Vanderbilt: 3 way tie between Jeepbrew, Slacker130, and SpotCheck Billy ( All three predicted 31-13 Auburn and the Final was 31-15 Auburn)

Rules: (These were added to help determine a winner better)

1. Must predict team and score. Score only and team only predictions won't be counted

2. Only one prediction will be counted, so if you make more than one, pick one to be counted.

(The Nino would've won but they made two predictions. One of them was 31-14 which would've been the winner)

3. In the event of a tie, the poster(s) who predict Auburn's score the closest will win ( or tie if multiple posters choose the same score.)

I dont think it needs a solution. The closest to the actual score wins- over or not.

If the game score is 9-8 (17)

Poster 1 picks 10-9 (19)
Poster 2 picks 8-7 (15)

Why does being over create a bust in a tie. We are not playing blackjack. Two winners

How would you determine who's closest to the score if as I said in the op numerous posters were off by only two points.

lol I don't know man. That's too much thinking for a game. We all win. Dilly Dilly!

Week Two - HailToTheChiz (3-2, score was 14-10)

If 3-2 won because of the over rule... lol

I wasn't doing the predictions in week two that was honor ( they did the LSU prediction thread, but stopped after that so I chose the LSU winner, but any winners before the LSU game were made by him/her)

I'm going to keep the current tie breaker as is until someone comes up with something better. I hope there aren't any more ties the rest of the year so we can avoid the debate, and have the off season to come up with something better

Some are like that but I have seen no evidence that 2015 is like that. The "over" format is pretty common I just dont know why. It is pretty random and it encourages to not predict the score that you think it will be, but the score and "leave some room on the low end to be safe."

My favorite ......"Ref, he hit me!"
