Looks to me like they just ranked all undefeated P5 teams, then all one-loss P5 teams, etc... I really don't have a problem with that for the first poll.

How about that? Unranked in the AP and Coaches polls, but being Kansas State champs has Oklahoma State ranked in this one.

If you watched them vs Stanford, and ASU, you wouldn’t have them top 4 either. Honestly could say the same for FSU though. But it’s what have you done recently. Washington has struggled recently vs bad teams, and FSU only struggled early in the season. There’s a legit debate to have, but I think they got it right.
