With the first rankings of the season dropping tonight how do you think the top four will round out?
1. Ohio State
2. Georgia
3. Florida State
4. Michigan
5. Washington
6. Oregon
With wins against Penn State and Notre Dame I think the Buckeyes will probably grab the top spot. 2-4 is kind of up in the air I think it depends on how much value the committee puts on FSU’s early win against LSU. Neither Georgia or Michigan have played anyone really but I think recent history would put Georgia at lowest 3rd.

Uh...no. Try this:
1. Ohio State/Michigan (one or the other, not both)
2. Washington
3. Alabama
4. Florida State

I'm an idiot....I apologize, dawgfan24348. I didn't read the first sentence closely enough. I thought we were talking about the final playoff rankings. Sorry about that, man.

How are you guys so convinced that Washington is that elite?
I'm pretty skeptical myself.
They have had three one score victories, two of them against weak teams and barely edged out Oregon.

Oregon is a damn good team. Georgia, Ohio State, and Florida State all have one-score victories also.

If you believe the PAC 12 is as strong as the media pumped them up to be. I think the PAC 12 is weaker than made out to be. USC sucks. Washington is ok but has almost lost to 2 of the worst PAC 12 teams

I think Oregon is the most balanced team this year. Great offense and a surprisingly good defense. Of course, Lanning …

They are certainly playing well right now but they also barely beat a really bad Texas Tech team early in the season.

That's stupid.

Like when LSU fans assumed that Kirby & the Dawgs were going to get curb-stomped by the Tigers in the SECCG last year because Captain Shrimp Boat and Burrow beat them 3 years prior, or nah?
Kelly still hasn't ever beaten a team coached by Smart.

It's really stupid considering that the last 3 peat in CFB happened in the 1930s.
Odds are strongly stacked against UGA this year if even Saban couldn't do it in his prime.
