Sam would be perfect at a Samford type school. Griffen may go to a UAB type school.

I know I’m in the minority on this, and didn’t voice my opinion because I don’t like being negative while layers are still on the team, but I am very ok with Walters hitting the portal. I think we can upgrade that position. His shooting was really good from the corner but he didn’t add much outside of that. Lateral quickness is lacking. Early in the year I wanted him welded to the bench, but he got a bit better(as freshmen should) but I’m still not crying over losing him.
Best of luck to him though unless he ends up someplace I hate.

I have to wonder if Oats realized he is just not athletic enough to defend at the level he wants and encouraged this move. I loved his three point shooting but it might be hard to keep him on the floor for extended minutes.
