At least a 12 team playoff next year will weed out teams like Georgia and Michigan, with pussy schedules, earlier than the semifinals.

Georgia still has Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida and Missouri (plus Alabama/LSU/Ole Miss in Atlanta).
Michigan still has Penn State and Ohio State.

"weed out teams like Georgia..."
For the thousandth time, go back and look at the schedules. It was brought up in a thread a while back; compare all of the ranked teams that UGA played and beat in their last 2 NC seasons to all of the ranked teams Bama played in their last 2 NC season's...and what they were they all ranked when they played. Then come back and I'll accept your apology.

Poor logic

A 12 team playoff will make sure several teams with bad schedules make the postseason. Then all bets are off.

How so?
So, we (right now) are favored to make a 4 team playoff, but when they expand to 12 teams we will be weeded out?
You got some high level logic going on here, sport.
