Twitter - Brock Bowers to undergo Tight Rope surgery

Don't frick this up, Eli ... make Georgia offense 1-dimensional like Kentucky and hope Bowers makes a full recovery ... only to skip our spot in the Gator bowl and prepare for the NFL draft ...

Even more important now not to look ahead. Take care of SClite and game plan the hell out of UGA.

We can easily lose every single game left on our schedule, no easy wins left. We can also win every single one. Going to be interesting.

The problem with this is our D didn't make UK one dimensional. UK just sucks at passing.

Our D hasn't been great at anything this year.

Without Bowers, the same can be said for UGA passing game ... this is like Mizzou losing Burden.

Also, our defense has 19 sacks/41 TFL to UGA's 12 sacks/36 TFL ... UGA doesn't have the same defense as 2021/2022.

I dont think so. UGA still has capable WR weapons and a healthy running game. We'd have to sellout to stop UGA run and then our pass D is so bad, UGA has more than enough talent to tear it to shreads.

Just to put some advanced rankings out there, here are the OFF/DEFF efficiencies from ESPN FPI:

MU - 18/47
UGA - 11/23
UK - 65/49

UGA is still in a whole other league compared to a team like UK.

Yeah, I hear the statistics ... but living in GA and having to watch their games with friends ... on the "eye" test, their offense is not very good and their defense is not as good either.

It will come down to scheme and gap discipline. I agree that if Baker keeps dialing up 0-blitz on 3 and longs, it will be a long game ...

Clearly they aren't as good. Last year they were 2/2. They are not that good this year.

The best team we have played this year is LSU and they are 2/94. LSU beat us on our own field. UGA is clearly better than LSU and we are going to their place. The East is still safely in UGA's hands unless we can significantly improve on offense and defense.

UT is still in the running at 46/11.

May I remind everyone that the last time we beat UGA, it was in their house. And we played against both their stud TEs last year and damn near won.

We won this game as soon as we got the bye before the game. Our challenge is UT just because they are crazy confident against us. And deservedly so.

I hope you won't be saying Drinkwitz should've put in Cook. This is why UGA will keep winning because they aren't trying very hard. Look at what UGA did to Kentucky. Why all of a suddenly UGA looking not a top 5 team? They are waiting for the bigger threat teams to show up when it is needed to win the game outright.

Did you know Heupel is played quarterback for Oklahoma? Oklahoma fans and players hate Mizzou. Both OU and UT are the strongest ones that focus on Mizzou the most. The reason? Both want to see Mizzou loses games and take Missouri top HS recruits.

Did anyone notice the WR that missed the block on the guy that hit Bowers? Pretty sure it was Lovett.

I’ve told the UGA fans Lovett is a terrible blocker since he transferred. They said the WR coach would fix that

They haven't lost in years. They are team full of kids. They are clearly bored looking for excitement/challenge. I think the UK game proved that. Anyone that comes in there that the public is perceiving as a "threat" to UGA will probably get the horns.

I hate that the kid got hurt but this is a big plus for every team playing GA.

I think you meant Horn ...

UGA hasn't played anybody yet (UT-Martin (FCS), Ball State (1-5), UAB (lol), Vandy (we both won by 17 at their place), South Carolina (we should boat race them this weekend ... should ...), Kentucky (overrated)) ...

As long as Cook stays the "Dilfer" game manager that he is and doesn't go K-State 2022, Mizzou will be in the game and has a legitimate shot to win ...
