I was wondering who would be considered the best qb that he has coached. Too lazy to do the research and compile a list so I'm hoping some you will chime in an help with an answer.

Bo Wallace maybe?
He only finished his senior year with a 60% passing percentage though which is nothing to write home about.
22 Td/ 14 INTs
It seems like all his QBs tend to throw INTs a lot.

Don’t think there’s a ton to choose from. Chad Kelly, Bo Wallace, and Malik Willis are the options

Chad Kelly in 2015 went for 4,000 yards
Now we are talking.

Swag Kelly, Swag had some great WR's to throw to though.

A better question to ask is which was that best QB the Freeze recruited and signed as a freshman?
Hint: His name hasn't been mentioned in this post.
What does it mean? Maybe nothing, but.....seems like a familiar situation, doesn't it?

With the schools he's been with - Kelly, Willis, Wallace, Patterson are pretty solid results.

Freeze tries to recruit OL and recruits WRs well. He puts out pretty good QBs..
Which part is the dollar store part of Gus? It could be the defense. But not this year....

I really hope that trend doesnt change. Is it that much to ask for a 19' style defense with atleast a 17' potential offense.

We are living large with that blend.

Seems like the fact he runs college/NFL blocking schemes and route trees complete with options puts him in a different category than Gus, who was criticized for running a simplified system.
I remember people would say OL in particular didn’t want to play for him because they wouldn’t be prepared for the NFL.

That explains why they started Throne then

2015 Swag Kelly was probably the best. 31/13 and 10 rushing TDs on top of that. 65% completion rate. I’d take that over the crap we’ve seen this year.
Oops Jang beat me to it

Shea was good and he grabbed two good juco qbs. When did he ever have qb play like Gus did? His rushing attacks at times sucked, as well as defense, but qb play there is a big difference outside of Marshall and Stidham.

Malik Willis was his highest drafted QB by a lot. Chad Kelly is the only other one I can remember and he was Mr. Irrelevant in his draft class.
Not a great track record of putting them in the league (and that is a major part of the pitch to potential recruits) but he's had solid college QBs. The work that Willis and Freeze did to get drafted in the 3rd round is amazing considering what he did on the field while at Auburn.

Willis is a tough one for the Freeze is Gus 2.0. Who do they give credit for getting him drafted?

Kelly screwed himself with off the field stuff that caused him not to get drafted higher.
