Sean is the man. I think he needs a couple carries a game. And needs some 3rd down chances to block. Backs looked absolutely atrocious in pass pro yesterday

We should have snuck either PT or RA at least once, or faked the sneak and a quick pitch to the outside at the end of the first half on 3rd and 4th and short instead of running the shotgun and high snaps. Sean up the middle or pushing the pile in a heavy set instead of getting cute. If we didn't get it after 2 tries, then that would be much easier to accept. Not great play calls tho CHF disagrees and poor execution (hence, bad play calls in the first place). Still glad we tried to go for it over the fg (points would have been nice, but it felt like a give up decision. If we had converted....lol). Just my 2 cents.

IMO, before half, just take the points.

A 13-10 lead is a lead. So much game left that you don’t know what may happen.

In the second half, deciding to go for fourth down is ok, but it should be charted as to down distance, score differential, etc. in other words, it should be a decision based on data.

I was glad to see so many recruits at the game and I think the message that Coach Freeze conveyed to them was spot on. He was saying that "We can play an even better game with your help." I hope that many of the potential Auburn players got a favorable impression and decide to sign.

I agree. I know you said the staff and guys were crushed. That's a good thing. Two weeks to put it together and maybe make a run in the month of October.

Coaches have us competing. Seems like players are bought in.

Just need to hold it together.

I didn't see a win for he culture. There has always been massive support for the team and the program at Auburn, and usually for every coach, from the beginning until well into a decaying orbit. That's the Auburn culture and it hasn't changed.

What I saw Saturdays was what happens when our inadequate offense cuts way down on turnovers, false start and holding penalties on the OL, fumbled kick returns, and delay of game penalties because of coaching indecision, while the other team makes more of those same errors. That was the only reason the game was close.

Our offense cannot score. It is completely inept because our coaches are putting three, four, and five wide receivers on the field that can't execute along with a QB that can't execute. Meanwhile, four good running backs are plugged, one at a time, into an offense that can only run when the passing game sets it up.

With the players we have to work with, we would be better off with a two RB set and run routes with only two WR's and only pass when coverage is man to man. Use the TE's creatively and run two RB's to give multiple dimensions to the running game.

We have another Einstein coach. He will soon be talking about how important it is to recruit the players for our "system".

Sorry for waiting a few days but I have to spend several days a week at my mothers house (91) and can't post while I am there.
