I've had enough of hearing about Prime as much as I have about Taylor Swift.

And while NCAA athletes of Hunter’s caliber are often insured to hedge against a potentially life-altering moment like this one, Hunter wasn’t.

This insurance is not readily available to any athlete anymore. And premiums can run into tens of thousands of dollars (or more) annually. They are also only typically available as riders on disability policies.

Don’t understand how this is the head coaches fault.

It would still be up to the individual to insure himself.

If anyone is slacking it’s these scumbags who try to insure projected loss from unpredictable injuries in a high contact sport.

Those kids mentioned make enough in NIL money to cover the premium on the policies. One of em was bragging about his 300k car last week. They’re just getting poor advice. They’re also like the vast majority of other Americans, underinsured.

They are professional athletes. Do what every other grown up is supposed to do.

A headline that's full of shite about a coach that's full of shite. Great post!

This does not fall under the head football coach's duties. It's on the athletic department.

Here is a longish read about the mess Deion left in Texas with Prime Academy.
