0U has a 2 game schedule this year... RRS & B12 CCG the rest of their schedule is dog shyte. When Cincinnati is your toughest road game and UCF & TCU are your toughest home games all season you know the ghost of Mark Mangino smiles favorably upon you.

All this means is OU did what they should have done and are the only team to do so as convincingly. No other team ranks in top 5 both catagories. What I’m getting at is look at all the other powerhouse teams who struggled with the weak OOC teams. OU is the only team to cover the spreads by so much.

But yes, after the SEC canx the GA game it wasn’t easy to find a school. This is still a rebuilding year so its all gravy. We have a lot of youngsters getting playing time. Next years schedule will be equally difficult.

2024 SEC Away
Auburn
LSU
Ole Miss
Mizzou

2024 SEC Home
Bama
Tenn
USCe

2024 Neutral
Texsa

2024 Out of Conf
Tulane
Houston
Temple
Maine

Also, we have a home/away with Michigan in 25/26.

Agreed. We will have a better idea of who OU is Saturday afternoon. Kicking the crap out of teams we should tho, is a good sign!

OU has a shitty schedule this year cuz of losing the UGA game. That being said Smu will be a top 25 team by years end, and Cincinnati has one of the best DL in CFB, they are talented. OU isn’t out here claiming a run at an NC yet so not sure why it’s a talking point.

Cincinnati just lost to Miami(Ohio), that game won't tell us anything.

Only an would think at this point those numbers would stay the same but by the same token only an idiot can’t see OU is a much different team than last year ….

It doesn’t prove that OU is a NC contender yet..though they may do that eventually. Their efficiency on offense does prove they aren’t the tire fire they were last year which has to be encouraging Re: Venebles.

LSU's 2024 OOC games
USC in Vegas
Nicholls St - always play one in state school
UCLA
South Alabama - beat OK St 33-7 this season

Home and away in 2025 with Clemson

2025 game with Clemson is away. This will be the 3rd straight season playing away. I'm not sur what our schedulers were thinking.

I'd normally criticize OU's schedule too but at this point all conferences appear to be pretty equal (thanks transfer portal and NIL)

I would go as far as to say the sec and the big 12 have looked bad this year ….. only problem is Texas beat Bama …. So on par maybe ? Pac schools have played no one of relevance and TCU is in rebuild early on so Colorado has beaten no one at this point . UGA has a really weak schedule and even more at how bad those teams on their schedule have looked …. They won’t be getting much credit for beating 1-2 loss sec teams even if they make the championship game becuase of what Texas did to Bama . LSU is the secs only real hope and being honest I don’t see it … it’s doubtful they can win out . FSU hasnt looked like world beaters since their big win over LSU… The sec is down obviously . Doesn’t mean UGA can’t just be so good it doesn’t matter …. They won’t get much credit this year though . I suspect the same for OU.
