Who is this board's favorite college football TV announcer/analyst?

Or is the consensus on here that they all suck?
I'm pretty sure that I've yet to read about one that most people here can agree on. Apparently, they all suck lol.
Might be a little harsh. It's not nearly as easy of a job as some fans think, especially being a play by play announcer. I know for a fact that I couldn't do it. That shite would be hard.

1. pre-2000s Brent Musberger (younger fans probably wouldn't get it)
2. Keith Jackson
2. Ron Franklin
4. Sean McDonough (extremely underrated)
5. Chris Fowler

I love when Gus Johnson calls every play of the game like it’s the final stretch of the Kentucky derby

Ron Franklin and Mike Godfrey every Saturday night

I know you asked for television announcers, but nine (or more) times out of ten I find the local radio guys (from *either* team) to be far superior.
Somebody like, say, Eli Gold really *knows* the team he’s talking about. The television announcers seem to be in a state of constant waiting for an opportunity to talk about *other* games — and, of course, the playoff picture.
ETA: Keith Jackson, though … couldn’t beat that voice.

People complain about the way he talks about bama but that man gives more football insight in a game than most announcers do in a season.

Verne and Gary when they’re not talking about Alabama
Currently I guess Kirk would be my favorite.

The funny thing about Gary is that the better your team is the more likely he is to say really nice and flattering stuff about your team!
