judging by the number of rival fans that think Alabama is going to beat UT convincingly.

He looked better in week 1 than I expected, but it was, after all, Middle Tennessee State. I hope he continues to improve and wins every game, or one of the other qbs take up the slack, which I think is reasonable to assume could happen.

It will be interesting to watch.

Could be more that they watched the texas game last week.

The confidence in Bama comes from the Texas o-line problems, the Texas defense history of not handling running QBs and Sark not having a history of success in games like this.

Milroe shouldn't have to win this game. He just needs not to lose it. If he has turnover problems or has to throw while playing from behind, this could be a mess for Bama. That is unlikely, but possible.

You are only as good as your last game around here. Very short memories.

He is that, and it will be a concern for opposing defenses. I think he also hit 13 of 18 passes last week, and his long ball looked good, hitting those 3 touchdowns, so it's encouraging. He still locked onto the primary receiver every time. Never checked down and never even looked off the receiver. That will eventually tell on you. I think he was probably coached to go to the primary receiver in the first game, but will have to check down against good SEC defenses, and hit some intermediate routes.

I think most people think that he has to be merely a competent passer to be a good player. I mean, dude could probably be a Power 5 runningback or tight end if he wanted to

Just play man coverage, sell out to stop the run and spy him until he proves himself. No one knows how good Milroe is in big game passing situations yet.

I believe he has had some coaching, and honestly his athleticism is going to cause all kinds of problems for opposing teams this year

I think that most Bama fans are just cautiously optimistic.

The game being in BDS is pretty significant seeing as how you can count on 1 hand how many times we've lost there the last 15 years.

No shot Midroe is gonna be able to hit anything against Texas's man coverage

I can't even name 3 of their receivers while our whole WR room is full of household names.

The good news is this game won't fall on Milroe.

Agree. He's a complete unknown at this point. He definitely has some wheels though.

The only TX WR's name I know is because he transferred from UGA.
