I'm guessing he winds up at tOSU.

Yes, there has not been a hint of him going anywhere else.

Seems pretty clear at this point.

I think Bama is in it more than you realize. I'm not saying he'll go there, but they're right up there with OSU.

I think they are in it, but I think he sees himself more in a 4-3 than a 3-4 base defense.
No idea if that ends up mattering, but OSU has a need and Houston seems like the type of kid Larry Johnson would win a recruitment for

Alabama is not really a 3-4 base anymore. They spend nearly 70% of their snaps in four man fronts.

BOL is not expecting Houston to commit to Alabama.

Congrats tOSU. You got a helluva player and a better person. Known Big E since 7th grade. One of my fav human beings. Great kid. Great family. He’s a baller

That's awesome to hear, even if he didn't choose our school.

Yea I like how he handled the entire thing. He was done with his commitment in 30 seconds.
Seems to have little to no ego.

Congrats. Wish we got him, but hope he balls out for y'all. Except if we meet each other in the playoffs.

That's the impression I got also. He is a man/child who is also Georgia 285 lb. wrestling champ and also anchors the 4x400 relays. That is unbelievable.

Another Gwinnett County “miss” for UGA - the Bermuda Triangle of Georgia recruiting.

His info is never gonna be as good when UGA isn’t in the mix - and UGA been out of the mix for Houston for a long time.

Saw an interesting stat for Buford players that makes me not mad that we keep missing on them-
They’ve had ONE player drafted by the NFL in the last 20 years. I know that will change with Downs, Haynes, etc, but still a pretty amazing statistic.
ETA: And of course it isn’t true. But, what is true is they haven’t had a player picked higher than Round 5 since prior to 2002. Maybe it’s true that Buford players peak in HS and don’t develop further.

As good as they've been, that's an interesting stat.
My guess is Grayson and Butford students are mostly transplants with not real allegiance to UGA. That's the only viable conclusion I can think of.
