I'm talking Razorback games, not high school games
for me was 2007 against Mississippi St
I might go to the ASU game in 2 years but I have no desire to spell the urine

Never been able to afford it
I’m saving up for one in 2025, almost there

I used to go to all of them but Fayetteville has ruined it for me.
I will be there in 14 days though, dove hunt at first light then the game with my sons and nephew.
I’ll absolutely be there for ASU.

When we played UAPB last year. IMO WMS needs to be replaced or we should stop playing there.

2013 against Dak and MSU I think. Only game I want to see there now would be against A State. Otherwise stop playing games there.

Why do y’all still play there? I gotta feel like y’all are losing money to appease a small portion of the fanbase.
I went to the state game in Fayetteville a couple of years ago and loved that stadium and atmosphere. I couldn’t imagine state playing a game in Jackson.

The LR fans are like the vocal minority that screeches if you bring logic to the discussion. I do think the stadium was fun for games against LSU on Black Friday.

Georgia hmm 10ish years ago I guess?

The ones we are trying to appease are the very elderly old money boosters. "By God, Arkansas should play in Little Rock because they've always played in Little Rock!"
There is arguably more money in NW Arkansas now, but folks like the Walton family prefer to spend their money on civic projects. Which, mind you, ain't a bad thing.
It isn't great for sports though. In time that will level out and sports donations up in the hills will go up. But right now we have to get a few more years out of those Little Rock boosters.

Arkansas vs LSU 2010. Will be there on the 2nd though

I think it was absolutely necessary for a few reasons. It wasn’t that long ago that WM was bigger, had lights (Fayetteville didn’t), central to the state and not up the pig trail. It’s just run it’s course, hope the ASU game is the finale.

I went to the UAPB game a couple years ago. Before that, it was LSU sometime in the 2010s.

This is not up for debate.
Who are the Little Rock billionaires besides Stephens?
Northwest Arkansas has a half dozen, including three Waltons worth a combined nearly $200 Billion (I know, they don't care about sports, but still).
The Baums and Walkers would be considered huge money in Little Rock, but in NWA they are also-rans.

It was necessary because then AD John Barnhill had the stadium built as travel to Fayetteville was very difficult.
War Memorial was crucial at that time because Arkansas in the early parts of the 20th century didn't follow the Razorbacks.
You only had radio and the St. Louis Cardinals had a bigger following.

People on here have no idea how true this is. NW Arkansas might as well be cut off from the rest of the state back then. HWY 71 up from Ft. Smith and the Pig Trail were death trap highways.
Fayetteville was small, Bentonville, Rogers, and Springdale were tiny.
It made all the sense in the world back then to play in Little Rock.
Now with NW Arkansas/Ft Smith being 750K, a nice Interstate HWY through the mountains and a world class regional airport, there is no need to play in LR. It's nice to throw LR a bone but it is certainly not necessary for the health of the program.
