They beat 7 teams that were ranked in the final poll. None of them could find a "bad day" to beat LSU on?

What a ridiculous statement.

Would get boat raced by most championship teams in today’s era.

2019 LSU
2020 Alabama
2022 UGA

Would all beat 1995 Nebraska by 30+.

Dude, Lawrence Phillips and that Nebraska team would murder those guys.

Ignorant take. Give that team the same strength and conditioning programs and see what happens. And if against an Alabama team let’s add the extra inducements.

The guy that rushed for 547 yards in 1995 and averaged 0.1 YPC more in the NFL than Trent Richardson?

Oh. Cool.

They’d get mud holed. No roster with 90% of its players being from the state of Nebraska would be able to stay on the field with today’s SEC powers. Sorry.

Black Lives Matter.

Or something like that.

Don’t know much about the history of athletics do you. I’m sure none of the players from the past could play any sport today

Okay, so what are we arguing about? Would 2019 LSU, 2020 Alabama, and 2022 UGA beat the brakes off 1995 Nebraska or not?

Did that Nebraska team have a single player on the LOS play a meaningful snap in the NFL?

They’d get mud holed.

Why? I think you are wrong bug time.

Those 90s Florida teams that Nebraska made light work of would destroy every SEC team right now except maybe us, Tennessee.

Especially with UGA losing Stetson and it's OC.

What about 2001 Miami. I loved 2019 LSU but I always wondered how they would have handled Vilma, Reed and Wilfork on defense.

Didn’t know we were talking NFL. Thought we were talking college football. A star in college doesn’t automatically translate into a star in any professional sport and vice versa.

That team was amazing and I'm not minimizing what they accomplished but looking at the schedule they really only had a couple of really tough games all year. Although they beat the crap out of everyone they played. I'd like the all time best to have played a great schedule where they proved their dominance all season over the best of the best.

Sure, but not having a single player on either side of the LOS play a meaningful snap professionally is absolutely an indictment of the overall talent level.

I think it’s also a fair indication of what might happen if a team full of NFL talent, with superior size and strength at every key position on both sides of the LOS, faced that 1995 Nebraska team.

Mud hole.

I’d take it as far as to say they’d be beaten soundly by every championship team of the Playoff Era.

Which one of those Front 7 on the 1995 Nebraska team was going to tackle Derrick Henry?

And you know this how? It’s an argument that can’t be proven either way. We will agree to disagree.

At this point, I don’t even know the basis for your opinion. They beat up on a bunch of bad teams in 1995, so being undersized and over powered doesn’t matter in 2023?

You really are clueless aren’t you. I’m leaving this topic with a quote aimed at you. “Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience “ Aloha

You’ve not laid out a single argument, rational or otherwise, to support your position. You never joined the topic. Just rolled your pretentious eyes and dodged every direct argument on the topic.

Very odd. Aloha, oh wise one.
