Does Anyone Besides LSU Fans Think LSU is Going to Win the West?

I mean, they won it last year, congrats. But it was a terrible year for the SECW. They barely beat my Hogs without KJ. They did beat Bama, barely. Got skull fricked by Tenner and Georgia played with them in the SECCG.
Daniels isn't a poor mans Cam Newton, he's a 3rd world Jamarcus Russell without the jelly rolls.
I figure LSU finishes 4th in the west. Only gimmie win is State. Prove me wrong

Yeah, I think we have abetter shot than LSU. KJ plays last year and we dismantle y'all. We're much better this year and you're about the same.

I will not accuse you of being a troll.
However:
LSU won the West in a year where Alabama had the #1 pick at QB. That shouldn’t be overlooked. Just because LSU and UT had good days and beat Alabama doesn’t mean that was a “down” Bama team. They were pretty damn good as Arkansas fans will remember.
LSU is weak in the secondary on defense and is vulnerable but the front 7 is very good. In fact we have a guy at linebacker that single handedly beat Arkansas.
Return the OL (biggest key), QB, all RBs, and majority of WR production.
It’s a coinflip between LSU and Alabama this year. They are deeper but 22 vs 22 is pretty even.
I see Aggie and Ole Miss as more of a threat than Arkansas to make that leap just in terms of talent.
I like the Hogs always root for them when we don’t play but that doesn’t mean they’re winning the West.

LSU will likely be a better football team this year. And they could be that and not win the West.
But I'd say it's almost 50/50 between LSU and Alabama.
But there is a possible outcome where Bama could be worse, LSU better and Alabama win the west. Football is a funny game.

I agree with this. I think Bama was better last year but we played better that night. This year it could happen in reverse. That’s sports.

I don’t think A&M will win it, but I also don’t think LSU will either. Every team has a shot this year with Bama struggling.
